Season Information.
All of the Player evaluations are now complete. If you are a new player and missed the evaluations, don’t worry, you will still be placed on a team at the draft.
The Drafts for the Junior and Peanut divisions are complete and you should be getting a call from your coach soon with further information. For the rest of the divisions, (Pup, PeeWee, Minor and Major) The drafts will be held at the end of the month (22nd thru the 25th) You will be getting a call from a coach with further information just after the draft so please be patient.
COACHES;
There will be a Coaches meeting on Sunday March 21st, 6:30pm (New Coaches) 7:30pm (Returning Coaches)at the Fleetwood Arena (Upstairs in the meeting room) This is a MUST attend by at least one member of EVERY coaching staff.
PLAYERS;
Please make sure that you have the correct equipment for the start of the season. You must have the following;
- CSA Approved Hockey helmet with Full face protection, (Not a Baseball or bike helmet)
- Approved Shin Pads, D Gels are the best, but soccer ones will do. If you have hard shin pads, they MUST be covered by socks, (Soccer socks work great for this)
- A Proper hockey stick (No Plastic Blades) Please ensure that the blade of the stick is in good condition, worn down sticks will not be allowed. Please do not use Black tape on the bottom of the stick as it marks up the floors
- Hockey Gloves
- Good running shoes
- Optional Equipment, Knee and Elbow pads, Jocks (Athletic cups)
