There have been a few coaches that wanted to know how playoff standing tie breakers work. We have talked about how to do this and the following is how we will be handling this subject;

1st Tie Breaker-  Head To Head

2nd Tie Breaker- Total Wins

3rd Tie Breaker-  Team +/-

4th Tie Breaker- 10 Minute Mini Game with a 5 Minute OT if needed and a shoot out after the OT if Needed.

If 3 or more teams are tied, we will eliminate teams by Total Wins first (2nd Tie Breaker) and then once there are 2 teams let, go by the above Tie Breaker list.

The deadline to get your name in for the WCC coaching positions is Midnight on April 9th. Make sure to send an e-mail with the role you would like (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager, etc…) to Lance Parker (coachbigguy@hotmail.com) or Rick Passek (vp@surreyballhockey.org) before the deadline to be considered.

ATTENTION TO ALL COACHES

As of last year, Canada Ball hockey has made it mandatory for ALL coaches to have Speak Out. This can now be taken in an online course. If you would like to take the class online, please go to the following link, http://www.bchockey.net/Clinics/clinics.aspx

We are in need of Coaches for the 2010 Season.

Last year we had to turn some kids away because of the shortage of Coaches, lets try to not let this happen again. If you are interested in becoming a Coach, Assistant Coach or team Manager, fill out the form below and you will be contacted prior to April 1, 2010 about coaching in the spring league.
