The clinic is on Saturday May 1st at North Surrey #2 (Same as last clinic.) from 2:30-4:30

This is a MUST ATTEND by ALL 1st and 2nd year Ref’s. This is also Pay Day for ALL ref’s, so if you want your cheque on Saturday, you must show up.

‘INVITE ONLY’ Tryout Camp Rosters Announcment for U15, U17 & U19 BC Teams
These camps are set for May 8th, May 11th & May 13th as noted below

This is an exciting day for many BC minor ball hockey players, while for others it may come across as a disappointment. After three tryouts, with 8-10 evaluators present, past statistical info supplied and association/coach recommendations – the coaching staffs of all three teams spent 3 hours together going through each division and each player one by one to put forward the INVITE ONLY TRYOUT CAMP rosters (shown below). These players listed below are being invited back for a final BC camp in early May. There will be three tryout dates (listed at bottom) that these players will need to participate in to try and make the final Team Rosters for the upcoming Junior Nationals in Waterloo, Ontario. These players will also be scouted over the next 3 weeks in association house games.

As all players along with their families have indicated they are fully committed to the BC team if chosen, timelines and expenses do play a factor. We want to make sure all players listed below are 100% committed to the program. If there is any hesitation, please contact the WCMBHA National Director at vp@wcmbh.com

We are very confident in the players chosen for the next tryout and have a good ‘association wide’ showing. As there are new associations in Victoria and in the Interior, we will be making trips and or receiving recommendations for players from those areas and keeping the door open for a few other invite spots.

We ask all players below to respond back (to your coaches that will be contacting you via email this weekend) as soon as possible with your commitment level and that you were indeed notified about the next tryout dates and that you can attend. I encourage all players that did not make these rosters to come out next year and have a great 2010 season. 2011 info will be posted on www.wcmbh.com site in late February, 2011.

If you are a Referee for Surrey Minor Ball Hockey, there is a onfloor clinic coming up this coming weekend. The clinic will be from 2-4:30 at the North Surrey Arena on Saturday April 10.

This clinic is a MUST attend by ALL first and second year Referee’s, if you do not show or call Tyler Ingram, you will not get ANY games until the next onfloor Clinic, so make sure you attend!!!!!!

Last Open Tryouts – Team BC for
U15, U17 & U19 Divisions Announcment

To date we have had two open tryouts for all three divisions, we have one more open tryout coming up. If you are a registered player in minor ball hockey or mens ball hockey in BC and want the chance to play for TeamBC, you must make the April 10th tryouts if you have not attended at least one of the first two dates completed.

* Please note, we are looking for more high level goaltenders for the U17 Division as well (born 1993 & 1994)

As we come off of a great showing at the 2009 Junior Nationals that took place in Edmonton and BC’s first ever Junior National Gold Medal (U15 West Coast Wolverines), we are glad to be hosting OPEN TRYOUTS for the 2010 teams. All three teams will host 1 last Open Tryout date for ball hockey players wishing to play for BC in the 2010 Junior Nationals in Waterloo, Ontario this August longweekend. This is a “must make” tryout for each division if you are looking for a chance of making these teams. Tournament information and costs will be handed to players trying out in a package.
